Trainee Will Writer

I’ve spent over 20 years helping families across the UK protect what matters most — their loved ones, their homes, and the legacies they’ve worked hard to build. I founded Clayton Reeds with one simple belief: everyone deserves peace of mind knowing their family’s future is secure.

My journey into estate planning began long before it became my career. I’ve seen first-hand the confusion and heartbreak that can follow when a loved one passes without a Will or with plans that don’t go far enough. That experience shaped everything I do today — taking the time to explain things clearly, cutting through the jargon, and creating plans that genuinely work for real families.

As a father of three, I understand the importance of protecting your children’s future, keeping family harmony, and ensuring that what you’ve built over a lifetime passes safely to the next generation. That’s why every Will, Trust, and Estate Plan we create at Clayton Reeds is treated as if it were for my own family.

Whether you need a straightforward Will, a comprehensive Trust to protect your home from care fees, or guidance on passing down wealth tax-efficiently, my approach is always personal, practical, and built on trust.

When I’m not helping clients plan for the future, you’ll usually find me volunteering with at the local scout campsite and scout group or tinkering with bikes in the garage

After more than a decade in nursing, Emma decided it was time for a new chapter — one that would still let her make a difference in people’s lives, but in a way that offered more balance for her family. As a single mum of two young children, she knows first-hand how important it is to protect the ones you love and plan for their future.

Emma joined Clayton Reeds to train as a Will Writer, bringing with her the same care, empathy, and attention to detail that made her such a trusted nurse. Her background in healthcare has given her a deep understanding of people’s worries around illness, loss, and legacy — and a natural ability to listen and reassure.

She’s passionate about helping families find peace of mind through proper estate planning and takes great pride in guiding clients through what can often feel like a daunting process.

Away from work, Emma enjoys family walks, curling up with a good book, and cheering her kids on from the sidelines at football and dance practice.
